“TESTING” Requirements State that exposure to the following amounts of C O, for
the specified periods of time, may be “Permitted” before they “MUST” sound
an audible alarm:
At 70 PPM …..
up to 240 MINUTES [4 hours]
At 150 PPM ….
UP TO 50 MINUTES
Final UL-2034
“TEST” is at 400 PPM, this “Highest Level” was not reached in this TEST.
This Test
demonstration was conducted on January 19, 2011, using a just purchased new
UL-2034 C O alarms, by a COSA (Carbon Monoxide Safety Association), C O Training
Professional.
