O - Experts OWNER’S MANUAL
CO
– EXPERTS Model 2010 Low-Level CARBON MONOXIDE MONITOR
This
C O Monitor is designed to provide the consumer with very, very early warnings
of the presence of Carbon Monoxide, thereby eliminating the PANIC and the need
for an immediate call to 911 for a trip to the hospital, and far too often the
need for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatment. This C O – Experts Low Level C O
“Health” Monitor is designed to put you IN CONTROL OF, ….. NOT AT THE
MERCY OF Carbon Monoxide Poisoning.
C
O – Experts Low Level C O “Health” Monitor provides features ….. not
offered by any other C O alarm in the World. Designed to give you
both audible & visual warnings even earlier then the “Safety Levels”
established by ACGIH [25ppm], NIOSH [35ppm], and OHSA [50ppm]. [All 8 hr. TWA].
C O – Experts lets you know IMMEDIATELY at 7 PPM, 25 PPM, 35 PPM, 50PPM, and
the EXIT IMMEDIATELY WARNING at 70 to 100 PPM.
1.
This Low-Level Carbon Monoxide Monitor IS NOT a “Standard”, UL 2034, ULC, or
CSA Listed C O Alarm, and is not intended to replace the installation of
such products, if such a CO Alarm is REQUIRED by State or Local “By-Laws”
that DO NOT contain a “OR SUPERIOR Technology” Clause. If you live in
such a location you may need to install a cheap UL-Listed “Retail Grade” C O
alarm also. Then install one or more C O – Experts Low Level C O Monitors to
provide the vital protection that you need from Chronic Low Level C O Poisoning.
2.
You may notice that the Instructions in this Manual are quite different from
those on the retail grade C O alarms. Because C O – Experts provide very early
warning, it warns you long BEFORE you need to call 911 for a trip to the
hospital.
3.
WARNING: C O Monitors / Alarms ARE NOT UL-Listed Smoke, Fire, or other GAS
Detectors, and you do need to obtain additional products designed for your
Protection from these Hazards. Your New Model 2010 Low Level C O “Health”
Monitor WILL provide a very good, fast responding additional detector in the
case of a slow smoldering type fire in your home or building.
4.
This Low-Level C O Monitor is designed to detect Very Low Levels of Carbon
Monoxide from ANY SOURCE but can do so ONLY after the C O enters the sensor;
therefore, it may NOT detect low-levels of Carbon Monoxide found in other areas
of the property. You may want to purchase additional Low-Level Monitors for
other areas of your home where you spend a lot of TIME. This Monitor is NOT
designed to meet any present marine, aircraft, or other established C O Standard
except those of G. E. Kerr Companies, Inc. and C O – Experts Model 2010.
5.
